As this is a team event, scores will not be submitted for handicaps.
Handicaps will be taken on Saturday 2nd May (rounds played on this date will not be considered) and remain the same throughout the event.
Fourball matches played as a Fourball Matchplay
100% Handicap allowance (the lowest handicap will then play off scratch, with the remaining players receiving 90% of the difference).
Singles matches played as an Individual Matchplay
100% Handicap allowance (the lowest handicap will then play off scratch, with the remaining players receiving 100% of the difference).
The current holders require 4.5 points to retain the Ryder Cup or 5 points to win it outright for either side.
Europe will be nominally considered the ‘home’ team for 2026. USA will tee off first in each match as the visiting team and Europe will wear their team colours in the Singles matches as the home team.
Day 1 Europe will play in in White shirts with USA in Red shirts.
Day 2 Europe will play in in Blue shirts with in USA in White shirts.
This will be reversed for 2027 with USA considered the ‘home’ team at our next venue.
