As this is a team event, scores will not be submitted for handicaps.
Handicaps will be taken on Saturday 29th May (rounds played on this date will not be considered) and remain the same throughout the event.
Fourball matches played as a Fourball Matchplay
100% Handicap allowance (the lowest handicap will then play off scratch, with the remaining players receiving 90% of the difference).
Singles matches played as an Individual Matchplay
100% Handicap allowance (the lowest handicap will then play off scratch, with the remaining players receiving 100% of the difference).
The current holders require 4.5 points to retain the Ryder Cup or 5 points to win it outright for either side.
USA will be nominally considered the ‘home’ team for 2027. Europe will tee off first in each match as the visiting team and USA will wear their team colours in the Singles matches as the home team.
Day 1 USA will play in White shirts with Europe in Blue shirts.
Day 2 USA will play in Red shirts with in Europe in White shirts.
This will be reversed for 2028 with Europe considered the ‘home’ team at our next venue.
